GHD hair straighteners first came to our stores just after the millenium. The first original GHD hair straighteners the GHD styler became an icon around the world used by millions including many celebrities who use GHD.
The word of GHD or ‘good hair day’ hair straighteners spread around the world, GHD had become viral. Stars of the stage, screen and music scene praised GHD in interviews. As the word about GHD spread around so did demand for the straighteners. GHD soon became a global brand and the range of GHD hair straighteners extended into not just more hair styling irons but into hair beauty products named ‘climb into bed’ which shook the world of fashion and hairdressing.
Combined with the word spreading about GHD they embarked on many successful advertising campaigns including the most famous one, ‘The gospel according to GHD’, which was made in October 2005 :
